Technology makes many things in life better, more fun and even safer, when it involves home security there are some interesting advances that technology has done for the ADT specials to make them even more special. Technology has made it more difficult if not impossible for even the smartest burglar to break into a home protected by ADT.

One of the latest advances in the ADT deals is the fact that even the burglar that thinks they can conquer the ADT home security system and get in the house, take what they want and get out before the police arrive to arrest them is wrong. The way that this type of burglar thinks is that if they cut the phone line that goes into the house then the ADT home security system is rendered useless. That would have worked for them in the past, however with the technology that exists today it is useless to cut the phone lines.

The reason for this is because the ADT deal can use a cell phone number to alert the ADT monitoring center that the home has been broken into, there is nothing even the smartest burglar can do to stop the home security system from dialing out on a cell phone. That means while the burglar is thinking they can take their time and take what they want the authorities are on their way. This leaves the burglar sitting in a cell wondering why cutting the phone lines did not stop the ADT deal.
